No Bull

Everyone rubs on Billy the Bull's balls for luck. Big pair 'o brass ones. LOL

Today, up down or indifferent makes no difference to traders. Even "scary bad" days of 500 or 1000 point losses only shake your portfolio a few percentage points. Oh, and all the windows on Wall Street are bullet or shatter proof so the brokers don't end up in the gutter.

It's a fight every day. But you have to bleed a little to get anywhere. Having bled for a year, from this point forward I wish I could keep a chart with a list of all the people and institutions on the other end of each trade when I exit for profit. Not that I am taking money from them, per se. In that regard the market remains ever-neutral. Still, would be nice to say, "Today I took X amount of dollars out of Hubert's pocket" (Hubert Senters, a straight shooter from TradeTheMarkets.com whom I met in NY a few weeks ago)

Do Not Enter. They made that loud and clear. Determination and Knowledge are the keys to this city. The barriers to entry are myriad and the system takes natural advantage over all but a lucky few. Good thing Luck is one thing I have never been short on.

Just waxing philosophical tonight as I set up my "fully operational Death Star" workspace for trading. Come to think of it, that wouldn't be a bad name for the save file. (And on a SW note, I noticed that in IL-2 when playing as Americans you are referred to as "Red Leader", LOL).

Whoah, yeah... I just turned my head and boy is the NyQuil hitting. G'nite, y'all.
